Traffic Report for November 4th, 2025

We will give updates on crashes we hear around the Albuquerque area. We’ll include the time and location of each incident and continue updating the list as new crash reports come in from across the Albuquerque metro area.

As a rule of thumb, most crashes are cleaned up within a hour or less. If it is a critical or fatal incident it will take up to 4 hours for the crash to be investigated. Below you will find resources of Twitter accounts for law enforcement agencies in the ABQ metro and NM DOT Cameras. Drive safe and stay safe.

Coors and Eagle Ranch area has traffic lights down and CABQ departments are working to get them back online. They expect it to be fixed within the hour.

Coors and Irving and Eagle Ranch and Irving also reportedly experiencing traffic lights outages.

Traffic lights might be out at Coors Blvd and Coors Bypass and Coors Blvd and Cottonwood Loop NW.

Around 11:30 AM, the lights were fixed.

There is a crash at I-40 westbound and Tramway. A car is reportedly hanging over I-40 westbound in the right lane.

At 11:50 AM, officers closed all lanes of traffic on Tramway (north and south) under I-40 due to the precarious situation with the vehicle dangling over the interstate. According to a photo posted on social media, the vehicle that went over I-40 westbound appeared to have landed on another car on Tramway.

As of 1:40 PM, this is still being cleaned up. Photos below were taken and provided by AFR.
