We will give updates on crashes we hear around the Albuquerque area. We’ll include the time and location of each incident and continue updating the list as new crash reports come in from across the Albuquerque metro area.
As a rule of thumb, most crashes are cleaned up within a hour or less. If it is a critical or fatal incident it will take up to 4 hours for the crash to be investigated. Police service aides are responding to a crash at 98th St SW & Colobel Ave SW. At least one of the vehicles is not drivable.

There’s a crash on Paseo Del Norte, heading westbound, just past the intersection with Ventura.

An accident was reported on westbound Central Ave NE approaching the intersection at Louisiana.

There’s a two vehicle crash reported at Fourth St NW & Montaño Rd NW. APD officers responded.

Around 9:55 AM, a major crash was reported on interstate 40 eastbound near the Carlisle exit. The NMSP responded. We posted a full story on this crash.

Officers from the Albuquerque Police department responded to a two vehicle accident at Martin Luther King Jr Ave NE & Maple St NE. One driver stated they had injuries as a result of the crash.

BCSO Deputies are on scene of a semi stuck on westbound Paseo del Norte at Second Street. All of westbound is currently closed until the semi can get turned around. Expect delays in the area.

A car is reportedly stalled in lanes of traffic at Central Ave NW & Rio Grande Blvd NW. Police service aides (PSAs) are being sent to this location.

There is a crash involving a pedestrian at Madeira Dr NE & Lomas Blvd NE. The pedestrian’s injuries do not appear to be life-threatening.

Police are going to an accident at I-25 northbound at the Big-I. NM DOT advises this incident is at mile marker 226, (I-40 WB Ramp / Big I). The DOT signs advise “Left lane and left shoulder and right shoulder closed.” Drivers should expect delays and use caution.

APD and PSAs are responding to a crash at Paseo Del Norte Blvd NW & Eagle Ranch Rd. There were initial reports of two accidents at this location. One on westbound lanes of Paseo just past the intersection and another on southbound Eagle Ranch Rd just before the intersection.

APD is responding to two separate vehicle crashes near Coors and Iliff. One was in the 6100 block of Iliff where a car hit a pedestrian in a shopping complex and fled. The other accident was also a hit-and-run.

A crash was reported at I-25 SB at Comanche. This was reportedly a hit-and-run accident.
There is also an accident going from Paseo del Norte eastbound as you approach I-25.

There is an accident at Holly Ave NE & Louisiana Blvd NE. APD is responding to this incident.
There is also a crash on northbound Unser before Arenal Rd SW.

APD officers and PSAs are responding to a vehicle versus pedestrian crash at Zuni Rd SE & Louisiana Blvd SE. This was cleared and lanes reopened around 5:20PM.

There are two accidents reported one near 924 Rio Grande Blvd. This is reportedly minor.
The second is at San Mateo Blvd NE & Summer Ave NE.

APD received reports of a crash at I-25 and Gibson via a phone notification. Police are searching to see if this crash has injuries.

The APD is investigating a vehicle collision that occurred at Second and Central. According to eyewitnesses, the driver responsible for the accident may have been driving erratically in the vicinity of Central and Fourth or Fifth before crashing out at Second and Central.

Police are responding to a motor vehicle crash involving two cars at Central Ave SE & Carlisle Blvd SE. A calling party told 911 too people were fighting after the accident.
