Vehicle Rollover in Multi-Car Collision at San Mateo and Roma

Around 12:30 PM, officers from the Albuquerque Police Department and rescue personnel from Albuquerque Fire Rescue were dispatched to a five-car crash at San Mateo and Roma. While en route, they learned that one of the vehicles had rolled over.

One of the occupants was pinned during the crash and needed extrication from their vehicle. Reportedly, one of the crash victims was transported to UNMH in critical condition. Another person was also transported to a local hospital, but their condition was purportedly not as severe.
