Albuquerque –
At around 1:30PM, the Albuquerque Police Department received calls about a woman being stabbed at a bus stop near Central Ave. and Eubank Blvd. When officers arrived they found a woman with a wound to her arm and they started first aid.
Albuquerque Fire Rescue responded to the scene to continue the aid and evaluated the woman. While that was happening APD was able to locate the suspect a few feet north at another bus stop. The female offender was sitting at a bus stop which had been taken over and turned into a homeless encampment. One of the campers had two dogs with her and the dogs appeared to be relieved the suspect was being taken into custody.
The victim was eventually taken to UNMH for further assessment. The victim could be seen talking to rescue personnel as she was being transported. The suspect will eventually be booked on charges related to this incident.
