Albuquerque –

An APD PIO says that their detectives are investigating a suspicious death of a man at a foothills area command apartment complex overnight.

They say that at around 12:30a.m., APD officers responded to a report of a man who was stabbed at the Ridge Apartments, located at 557 Tramway Blvd., N.E. Upon arrival officers performed life-saving measures, however the adult male died on scene.

APD goes on to say that at this time the investigation is on-going and there is no known threat to the public.

The scene was completely void of any officers or investigators when we went by this morning at 10:00AM. We will provide more details when they become available.

This is the first homicide of 2024.
