UPDATE: Two Shot Dead in Northeast Albuquerque

Albuquerque –

At around 9:30 PM, the Albuquerque Police Department received a call reporting gunshots near the 300 block of Parsifal St NE. Two people were shot, according to a witness, who also informed APD that one person was allegedly shot in the head and chest.

When APD officers arrived, they found one person had died from their injuries. Another person is being taken to UNMH in critical condition.*

This is an active and very developing situation. APD officers are blocking off streets in the area so that APD’s homicide detectives can conduct an investigation.

UPDATE:

At 10:07 PM, we found out that the second person taken to UNMH has died from their injuries.

While on scene we observed a male dead next to a sedan and investigators were looking near and inside the car. There have not been any suspects located and police ask the public to call 505-242-COPS if they have any information.
