NE Albuquerque – On December 15th, 2021, Albuquerque Police officers were called out to an apartment complex near the 3400 block of Aztec NE in regards to a shooting that left one man dead.
Officers were on scene at the apartment when a group of people walked up to the crime scene and requested an officer. A woman gave the name of her son and an APD officer told her that her son was deceased. She let out a scream followed by “NO! NO! NO! NO! NO!,” as family members held her up from collapsing to the street.
So far it is not clear if there are any suspects on the loose or suspects detained. This is Albuquerque’s 146th homicide of 2021.
