Around 2:00PM, Albuquerque Police Officers were notified of a Shot Spotter notification near the 1600 block of Walter SE. While they were investigating the shots fired call they were notified that a male victim was dropped off at Downtown Presbyterian Hospital with gun shot wounds. He died at that hospital.
“We are canvassing the area for video surveillance footage and interviewing witnesses who may have seen the incident,” said APD’s Lt. Ray Del Greco.The vehicle was being processed for evidence while it was parked in the front of the Presbyterian Emergency Room entrance. It appeared that there was at least 4 bullet impacts on the Honda sedan.
The homicide investigation consists of two separate scenes the house on Walter Ave. and the hospital where the vehicle was dropped off with the victim.
