On April 19, 2025, two unknown subjects broke into electrical boxes at Janet Kahn School of Integrated Arts. The Janet Kahn School of Integrated Arts is located at 9717 Indian School Rd. NE. The suspects stole copper wiring with an estimated value of $80,000. On April 20, the Albuquerque Public Schools posted that the school would have an asynchronous learning day on Monday, April 21, 2025, “due to electrical issues.
