Around 12PM, the Albuquerque Police Department received calls about a shooting in the area of 351 Washington St. SE. When officers arrived, they found one person who died as a result of a gunshot wound.

Officers reportedly have one person in custody. Authorities are blocking off nearby streets to begin a homicide investigation.
