Far NE, Albuquerque – According to various national media and social media accounts, adult film star Sophia Leone, legally named Brianna Navarro, has died after being found “unresponsive” in her Albuquerque foothills apartment on March 1, 2024.
We reported about the violent crimes call out when officers in the Foothills Area Command responded around 10:40 a.m. on March 1, to a report of a deceased woman inside the Mountain Run Apartments located at 5800 Eubank Blvd NE. Following an initial investigation, homicide detectives were requested to take over the case.
The Miami-born porn star broke into the industry in 2014 and starred in over 80 films, as shown on her IMDb page.
According to her GoFundMe, her stepdad said:
“Sophia was a beloved Daughter, Sister, Grand Daughter, Niece and Friend. She had a deep love for all animals, specifically her 3 pets. She enjoyed traveling and always found ways to make everyone around her smile.
As her Stepfather, I want to personally thank you for your kindness and generosity during this difficult time. Sophia will be deeply missed but her memory will live on in the hearts of all who loved her. May she rest in eternal peace”.
The Los Angeles-based modeling agency, 101 Modeling, which handles some of Leone’s bookings, said that the adult film star’s death was being investigated as a “robbery and homicide.”
ABQ RAW has not been able to substantiate those claims, and APD civilian spokesperson Gilbert Gallegos, as usual, has ignored our inquiry.
The Office of the Medical Investigator of New Mexico will be the ultimate determiner of the actress’s death. It will take at least a few weeks to get an initial report on the cause of death, and we will keep the story updated as we learn more.
