APD, AFR Respond to Crash on Chama St SE

Albuquerque –

Around 12:10 PM, the Albuquerque Police Department and Albuquerque Fire and Rescue responded to a single-motor vehicle crash in the 420 block of Chama St SE, which is near Chama and Zuni. At the time of response, the driver was not responding. The calling party believed the person may have experienced a medical episode, and the driver was not breathing normally.

Upon arrival, officers reported the driver was barely conscious but was breathing. Albuquerque Fire dispatched crews from Station 5. The driver’s exact condition is not known. 

Roads in the area may be blocked for a period of time as APD investigators collect evidence.
