APD Attempting to Take Wanted Felon into Custody

Albuquerque –

Officers from the Albuquerque Police Department in the Southeast Area Command are attempting to take a wanted subject into custody in the area of San Pedro Dr. and Cochiti Rd. S.E.

According to APD, the suspect has felony warrants. 

If we learn more about this situation, we will update you.

UPDATE:

We have received a few tips from people living in the areas of San Pedro and Cochiti that officers from the New Mexico State Police and the NMSP SWAT team are also present in this vicinity.

As of this update, we have no confirmation if the APD and NMSP are working together to apprehend the same wanted felon.
