APD Homicide Detectives process what appears to be a suspect vehicle potentially involved in the homicide of the 11 year old child
NE Albuquerque –
Around 1:30PM, witnesses said they saw the Albuquerque Police Department perform a high risk felony stop with at least 6-8 police units. The vehicle being stopped was a Black Dodge Durango S/T SUV. The officers could be heard giving the driver and occupants PA(public address) lous speaker commands to step out of the vehicle. The witness said they saw officers take a female into custody. ABQ RAW went on scene and saw a CSI investigator taking evidence from the SUV and looking for clues. A short time later APD homicide detectives showed up on scene.
It is unclear if this is the same vehicle involved in the homicide earlier this week of the 11 year old child outside Isotopes Stadium.
