Earlier Rollover Crash at Central and Eubank
Just after 7:30 PM, a rollover accident occurred at the intersection of Central Avenue NE and Eubank Boulevard NE. A white pickup truck was involved in a rollover crash that allegedly struck a traffic signal.
The Albuquerque Police Department and Albuquerque Fire and Rescue were dispatched to the scene. One occupant was observed by a witness exiting the white truck.
Upon arrival, APD and AFR found at least one injured person. The condition of the individual involved in the rollover crash remains unknown.
At the time of the crash, a portion of the intersection of Central Ave and Eubank Blvd NE was closed. The far right lane of eastbound Central Ave was blocked by the pickup truck, and southbound Eubank was closed as the traffic signal was lying in lanes of traffic.
A person reached out to us at 9:34 PM to inform us that lanes of traffic were still affected because all the lights at the intersection are out, and one of the light poles has been knocked down. It is unknown when the light pole will be fixed. Drivers should avoid this intersection.
