Albuquerque –

On Tuesday, September 2, around 7:20 PM, officers from the Albuquerque Police Department’s Foothills Area Command were dispatched to Parsifal St NE and Buena Ventura Rd NE for a person who had been shot. A car crash is also said to have occurred in this area. When officers arrived, they found one person who sustained at least one gunshot wound.

The person who was shot received medical treatment at the scene, and was transported to the University of New Mexico Hospital.

APD’s Gun Violence Reduction Unit is being called to investigate this shooting. APD officers, APD Police Service Aides, and New Mexico National Guard Units are blocking off streets in the area.
