APD Investigates Stabbing at Bus Stop Near Grocery Store

Albuquerque –

Early this morning, the Albuquerque Police Department was dispatched to the intersection of Yale Blvd and Oxford Ave near the bus stop, in reference a person suffering a violent attack.

According to APD, officers responded to a 911 call that was made at 1:15 a.m. about a man who appeared to be deceased near the bus stop. The man had multiple stab wounds. When officers and rescue personnel arrived, they determined the man was dead from his numerous injuries.

APD violent crimes and homicide detectives were dispatched to the scene.

This is the 57th homicide for the Albuquerque Metro Area for 2024.
