Police briefing on suspicious death
On August 15th, 2022, Albuquerque Police dispatchers were called about reports of an unresponsive female located at the Mountain View Apartments at 1515 Columbia Dr. SE. When APD officers arrived they verified the female was indeed deceased.
APD has declared the death a suspicious death due to the way the female was found in the apartment.
“Based on the facts and circumstances with that investigation they determined the death of the female was suspicious,” said APD’s Violent Crimes Unit Lt. Ray Del Greco
APD was awaiting a warrant to the apartment to investigate the scene and the Office of the Medical Investigator will examine the body to determine a cause of death. We will update you as the story develops.
