SE Albuquerque – Shortly after 10AM, APD officers responded to a report of a vehicle crash near Avenida Cesar Chavez and Langham SE. The white vehicle was submerged upside down in a nearby ditch and when officers arrived, they determined that the driver was deceased.
The vehicle was a white Ford Mustang, it appears that the vehicle flipped into the ditch and it is currently upside down.
APD’s Traffic Division responded to start the investigation. APD has not disclosed what caused the accident but alluded to drug use as a cause or involved. We will update if and when more information becomes available.
