Homicide Detectives from the Albuquerque Police Department are investigating after a person was found dead at Mountain Rd. NE and Georgia St. NE, on Sunday, November 10. Based on the initial statement released, the individual sustained a fatal injury to their lower back.

This is the 118th homicide for the Albuquerque Metro area for 2024. Three deaths were listed as suspicious deaths by the Albuquerque Police Department. The Office of the Medical Investigator (OMI) is currently working to determine the official cause of death in these three suspicious death cases.
