Albuquerque –
Just before 5:00 AM, officers from the Albuquerque Police Department responded to reports of a shooting in the area of Central Ave and Tramway Blvd NE.
Upon arrival, officers located one person who sustained at least one gunshot wound. Albuquerque Fire Rescue crews responded to provide medical aid.
The person shot was taken to a local hospital, but their condition remains unknown.
Police are searching for the offender who fled the scene. The investigation remains active and ongoing.
