APD Investigating Violent Crime in NE ABQ, Victim Shot in Head

Albuquerque –

Around 6:00AM, the Albuquerque Police Department was called to the 500 block of Hermosa Dr. NE in regards to a gunshot victim.

When officers arrived they found a car in the middle of the street with a gunshot victim. The victim was shot in the head and was transported to UNMH in critical condition. APD violent crime scene detectives and crime scene specialists were focused on the car. There was shattered glass on the street and a bag on the ground near the driver side of the vehicle.

The normally quiet neighborhood had neighbors outside talking to each other wondering what had happened.
