APD Negotiating With Barricaded Suspect in Mobile Home

Albuquerque –

There is an active police presence in the 10800 block of Central Ave SE, between Britt St and Elizabeth St SE.

Officers with the Albuquerque Police Department are attempting to negotiate with a suspect who is barricaded inside a residence in the trailer park. The woman is wanted on a felony warrant.

According to a homeowner in the area, APD has been using a bullhorn and making public announcements urging the woman to surrender. Another individual stated they have been told by APD officers they can’t enter or leave the area.

APD reportedly has several streets in the area blocked as the situation remains ongoing.
