Albuquerque –
Around noon, an officer from the Albuquerque Police Department reported that there was a rollover crash on Coors Blvd NW near Paseo Del Norte.
Additional officers and Police Service Aides were dispatched to the location, and Albuquerque Fire Rescue and Albuquerque Ambulance were also called in.
When AFR arrived, they located one overturned car which landed on its roof and a crashed out APD unit with heavy front end damage. AFR stated that there were three patients on scene, and one baby was transported to Lovelace hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
While on the scene, we noticed the baby being loaded onto a stretcher and crying.
At the time of the incident, officers and PSAs blocked the entrances and exits of the Plaza Paseo del Norte shopping center as some drivers were not paying attention to emergency vehicles in the area. Drivers should expect delays in the area.
