APS Continues School Delay Due to Cyberattack

UPDATE: As of 12:30 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 13: All Albuquerque Public Schools will remain closed on Friday as the district continues to investigate a cyberattack that compromised the student information system used to take attendance, contact families in emergencies, and assure that students are picked up from school by authorized adults.

APS schools and offices are closed Monday for Martin Luther King Jr. Day.

APS plans to re-open schools on Tuesday, Jan. 18.

Athletics and other extracurricular activities are expected to continue as scheduled. However, meals won’t be served on days schools are closed.APS administrative offices will remain open Friday, and essential school employees are also expected to report to work.
