On October 15th, 2026, we received a large amount of tips about a dead baby being found on the corner of 1st and Copper in Downtown Albuquerque.

We reached out to the Albuquerque Police Department about the incident.
Acting Communications Director of APD Rebecca Atkins sent an e-mail a day later saying this:
“It was deemed a miscarriage.”
We asked for a summary of the call and any other information but was only given the bare minimum.
