SW Albuquerque-
According to a Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Office email, at approximately 7:30 am on January 23, 2022, Deputies were dispatched to the west end of Gun Club Rd SW in reference to an unresponsive male lying in an open field.
Deputies arrived on scene and discovered a deceased male with multiple gunshot wounds. The Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Office Homicide and Violent Crimes Detectives were called to the scene and are currently investigating this case as a homicide. Thomas Nunn, 16, was identified as the victim on 1/25/2022 by the BCSO office.
This is the 10th homicide of 2022 and the second homicide investigated by Bernalillo County Sheriff’s office. This has been the deadliest weekend in the Albuquerque area of 2022 with three homicides.
