The Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a shooting that took place early Sunday morning at a house party in the vicinity of Blake Rd SW and Coors Blvd SW. A bystander contacted us to state BCSO was investigating a scene near Foothill Dr SW and Blake Rd SW.
On March 22, 2026, at approximately 2:44 AM, deputies responded to a report of gunfire in the area. Upon arrival, they encountered numerous individuals at the scene and discovered victims with gunshot wounds.
At this time, five victims, including one juvenile and four adults, have been transported to local hospitals. Their current conditions remain unknown.
The scene has been secured, and the BCSO detectives are actively investigating the events that transpired leading up to the shooting.
Because this is a very early and active investigation, additional details are limited at this time. Detectives are continuing to work to determine exactly what occurred and identify everyone involved.
