BCSO Investigates Murder on the West Mesa in SW ABQ

A body is carried away from the scene of BCSO’s latest homicide

SW Albuquerque –

On November 7th, 2022, at around 2PM Bernalillo County Deputies radioed dispatch that they found a man with stomach trauma near 11350 Central Ave. SW. The area was undeveloped near some private land with semi-trucks and mobile homes abandoned on the adjacent property.

“We are investigating a deceased male from that scene as a homicide,” said, BCSO public information manager, Jayme Fuller in an email.

The body was found in a ditch on the west mesa area of ABQ. BCSO detectives and deputies marked off areas in the ditch and outside the ditch with evidence markers while they investigated the scene.

This is the 153rd homicide for 2022 in the Albuquerque area.
