BCSO Involved in Deputy Involved Shooting by Carpenter’s Union on Pan American Fwy NE

Around 3:10 PM, the Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Office put out on X, formerly known as twitter that BCSO Deputies were involved in a deputy involved shooting in the area of the Pan American Freeway NE and Vassar.

No BCSO deputies were injured. Today, this is the second deputy involved shooting for BCSO.

The Multi-Agency Task Force has initiated an investigation.

Additional details will be released as they become available, this is an developing story.

While on scene, we observed that a maroon Ford Mustang was being blocked off, and that the incident occurred in the driveway from Pan American Freeway into the Carpenter’s Union building.
