BCSO on scene at ABQ Metro’s 100th Homicide of 2022

The scene of a fight that turned deadly that had an adult male killed.

SW ABQ – BCSO deputies and detectives are on scene at 4321 Coors Blvd SW investigating a homicide. BCSO says that around 8:00PM, during a physical fight, a male produced a gun and shot another male killing him.

BCSO homicide investigators work on their laptops at the scene of Albuquerque’s 100th homicide for 2022.

Witnesses say at least 5 rounds were fired and the victim was struck in the neck and other parts of his body. The male suspect was wearing all black.

A male and female were seen getting into a dark colored F-150 with bumper damage that fled the scene. Witnesses were able to give a license plate number, but it came back to a different vehicle.

BCSO released photos from security camera footage of the suspects and suspect vehicle. BCSO Homicide Detectives are asking for your assistance in identifying the persons of interest in the photos. Investigators believe the offenders fled in a blue 2005 Dodge Ram 1500 bearing the New Mexico license plate AFAX64. This is Albuquerque’s 100th homicide of 2022 and 26th away from breaking 2021’s record.
