Thompson’s trial is scheduled for September 30, 2024, with Judge Stanley Whitaker presiding.
Daniel Chavez

- Bribery of a Witness (Threats-False Testimony)
Chavez’s trial is expected to begin on October 3, 2024, with Judge Lucy Solimon overseeing it.
Manuel Palmier Barros
Case Number: D-202-CR-202303176
- 3 Counts of Aggravated Stalking (Violation of Protection Order)
- 2 Counts of Violation of Restraining Order Prohibiting Domestic Violence
It has been confirmed that several charges against Barros have been dismissed. Nevertheless, he remains scheduled for trial on two remaining charges at the end of October.
Guillermo Acosta
Case Number: D-202-CR-202301720
- Kidnapping First Degree (Intent to Commit Sexual Offense)
- Criminal Sexual Penetration in the First Degree (Great Bodily Harm/Great Mental Anguish)
Acosta is slated to go before a Judge on October 2, 2024. His trail will be overseen by Judge Courtney Weaks.
