Fight Results in 1 dead by gunfire, one injured in NW ABQ

NW Albuquerque –

Early Thursday morning Albuquerque Police were dispatched to Port Rd NW near Bluewater RD NW in regards to an alleged domestic violence situation.

When officers arrived they learned that a male and female were involved in a domestic violence incident. A witness did shoot the male suspect in the chest. The male person who had been shot in the chest died at the scene.

Prior to Officers arrival a person had transported two other people involved in the incident to the hospital.

It is unclear if a suspect has been arrested in this shooting. This is Albuquerque’s 144th homicide for the year.
