Downtown Albuquerque –
A viral video is making the rounds around social media of 19-year-old Zane Katzenberger, of Albuquerque confronting a group of people in the Downtown area of Albuquerque. He is seen on a now viral video pulling out a gun from his waistband and firing shots at the crowd. Many comments on the posts said “Wow, right in front of APD!”
In a matter of seconds APD responded to the shots fired call and was able to detain Katzenberger a mere block away. They found him full of sweat and out of breath.
It is a good assumption Katzenberger has not been to any gun safety courses or a shooting range. His lack of dealing with adult problems by instead just walking away from the situation was very apparent in his use of a gun. Katzenberger struck two people during his shooting rampage. One person was hit in the leg and transported to the hospital. Another person was grazed by a bullet and refused to go to the hospital.
According to the criminal complaint, officers smelled heavy amounts of alcohol on Katzenberger and when he was read his Miranda rights he said he was very intoxicated. He stated he got the gun from a social media messenger app called Telegram.
Katzenberger is now charged with 2 counts of aggravated battery with a deadly weapon, negligent use of a deadly weapon, and unlawful carrying of a deadly weapon.
The shooting was in one of Kellers Federal School Zones and we will be following this case to see if it will get federally adopted. The Federal School Zone idea was implemented by Mayor Tim Keller and APD Police Chief Harold Medina to combat gun crime. So far, no one has ever been charged federally with this School Zone designation.
The trash Abq. Journal states that this occurred at Central and Third. RAW usually has more details than the Jrl …
Shame that APD didn’t cull this little dumbass. I am a bit surprised he’s White, though.
Well, the last name gives a clue to the reason.
Before Floyd and the pro ANTIFA woke mayor, they would have smoked his ass.
Maybe not the brightest of fools. Drinking while underage, getting drunk, having a weapon, acting like an armed Murderer, wounding two people, yet only called aggravated battery.
I wonder if the good Rabbi knows his son was out and about pretending to be big gangsta?
