North Albuquerque – Westbound Alameda at second street was closed for hours today after a cement truck rolled over on its side in the intersection.  It appeared the driver took a turn from south bound second street to west bound Alameda too sharply with a fully loaded truck and it tipped over on its side.  No other vehicles were involved in the crash and it appeared the driver of the truck got himself out of the truck without any injuries. Getting the cement mixer back upright took at least two hours. The crew were seen diligently trying to roll it back upright causing many onlookers to have some afternoon entertainment on a warm winter day. It took three class A tow trucks and a bobcat to upright the vehicle so that they could tow it away.  Fresh cement could be seen spilled onto the northwest corner of the gas stations landscape property.
