Christmas Shopping Interrupted by Officer Involved Shooting, Suspect Wounded

Albuquerque –

There is a heavy police presence near the McDonald’s at 2801 Carlisle Blvd NE. The Albuquerque Police Department is blocking off Carlisle Blvd at Claremont, and setting up a command post.

One person was taken to a local area hospital and is reportedly in the operating room.

We have a reporter headed to the scene to gather more information. When we learn more, we will update you.

UPDATE:

We have been informed that this incident involves an officer-involved shooting. The Multi-Agency Task Force has initiated an investigation into the shooting that occurred in the vicinity of Carlisle Blvd and Claremont Ave Northeast.

No officers were injured.

  1. Hopefully the criminal succumbs to his injuries so he can be judged in the afterlife. He won’t be listening to mumble rap and smoking weed in hell.
