Albuquerque –
On July 15th, 2025, the Albuquerque Police Department located and followed a stolen Kia to Alcazar St NE and Shoshone Rd NE. Officers attempted a traffic stop and the couple in the car sped away to a nearby neighborhood. Officers were able to find the abandoned car and capture a female suspect. She was identified as 30-year-old, Patricia Martinez of Albuquerque. The male fled and found a backyard to hid in.
According to the criminal complaint, Martinez was the driver of the car and switched seats with 38-year-old Kenneth Robinson of Albuquerque.
Officers used their resources to find the Robinson and located him in the backyard of a home on Alcazar St. NE. He was given commands to surrender or a police dog would be used. He gave up without incident.

The complaint says officers found large quantities of drugs in the vehicle and a gun inside a fanny pack. Robinson is a convicted felon and violated his parole with this recent arrest.
Martinez was charged with receiving and transferring a motor vehicle, trafficking controlled substances, and conspiracy to commit a felony. Robinson was charged with receiving and transferring a motor vehicle, trafficking controlled substances, Receipt, Transportation or Possession of a Firearm or Destructive Device by a Felon, and conspiracy to commit a felony.
