Crash Cleared on I-40 Westbound Near Pennsylvania

Albuquerque –

There is a crash on I-40 westbound near Pennsylvania St NE, it appears to be located between Pennsylvania and Louisiana (MM 163). Lanes of traffic on I-40WB are backed up beyond I-40WB at Lomas Blvd NE. The accident has the right two lanes closed.

The New Mexico State Police are reportedly responding to the crash and will lead the investigation, while APD Police Service Aides (PSAs) will assist with managing traffic.

Drivers may want to avoid getting on I-40 Westbound at Pennsylvania, and attempt to get on at Louisiana instead. From the NM DOT cams, we can observe vehicles exiting I-40 Westbound at Louisiana.
