UPDATE: Lanes Reopened After Crash on I-40 Westbound Near University

Albuquerque –

There is a crash on I-40 westbound near University, which is at mile marker 160. There is one vehicle, a sedan, that has crashed into the jersey barrier and sustained significant damage.

The right two lanes and right shoulder are closed. Two help trucks are blocking lanes of traffic. As of 1:15 PM, a tow truck has reportedly arrived to begin removing the wrecked sedan.

We will share additional information as it becomes available, including when the lanes are reopened.
