Albuquerque –
Around 4:10 PM, a crash was reported near 3901 Montgomery Blvd NE, at the entrance to the Sun Pointe Park Apartments. Officers from the Albuquerque Police Department and Albuquerque Fire Rescue responded to the scene.
According to initial reports, a person inside one of the vehicles is unconscious and unresponsive. Given the seriousness of this individual’s injuries, streets in the area are being blocked off so officers can investigate.
We reached out to APD for additional information, but as of this publication, we have not received a response.
Drivers should expect heavy delays, and if possible avoid the area.
UPDATE:
Two lanes of westbound traffic are blocked, leaving only one lane flowing, which is causing massive congestion.
