Crash on Unser Blvd NW Leaves Child and Two Others Injured

Albuquerque –

The Albuquerque Police Department and Albuquerque Fire Rescue have responded to a crash with injuries on Unser Blvd NW and Ladera Dr NW. Reportedly, a tender-age child was taken to the University of New Mexico Hospital by AFR with serious injuries. Additionally, two other people were transported to a local area hospital with injuries.

Southbound Unser is closed at Ladera. It is believed that northbound Unser is still open as of this publication, but that is subject to change based on the severity of the victim’s injuries and if APD needs to conduct a more extensive investigation.

If we learn about additional lane closures, we will try to update you.

UPDATE:

The individuals in the crash, including the child, are allegedly listed in stable condition. APD is still investigating this crash. As a result, soundbound lanes of traffic on Unser are still closed.
