Through the BernalilloCo Sheriff app, community members can submit anonymous tips, receive public safety alerts, and stay connected with BCSO—all from their smartphone. The app is available for free download on the Google Play Store and iTunes App Store, or by visiting our BSCO website and clicking Submit A Tip.

“We know that the community plays a vital role in keeping Bernalillo County safe,” said Sheriff John Allen, “tip411 gives our residents a completely anonymous way to report crime, which will allow us to respond faster, solve cases more effectively, and continue building trust with the public.”

The BernalilloCo Sheriff app allows users to:

  • Submit anonymous tips about drug activity, weapons concerns, violent crimes, traffic issues, and more.
  • Engage in two-way anonymous conversations with deputies for follow-ups.
  • Receive important alerts and press releases directly from BCSO.

“Our innovative platform is designed to help agencies like BCSO enhance community engagement,” said tip411 President Terry Halsch. “With the BernalilloCo Sheriff app, residents now have a direct and anonymous way to work with law enforcement to keep their neighborhoods safer.”

The Tip411 system operates entirely anonymously, effectively eliminating all identifying information prior to the receipt of tips. This ensures that tipsters can report securely and with confidence.

How to Submit a Tip: More than an app!

Remember: This is NOT for emergencies. If you need immediate law enforcement assistance, call 911.

BCSO encourages all residents to download the BernalilloCo Sheriff app today and become a part of the crime-fighting effort. Every tip helps keep our community safer. For more information, visit: www.bernco.gov/bernalillo-county-sheriff/tip411/.
