Around 5:00 PM, calls came in to dispatch regarding an armed individual at a local business off Coors and Ellison, where Pei Wei and Total Wine are located.
Officers from the Albuquerque Police Department responded and located the suspect. The suspect allegedly got into a car and proceeded to drive into a police vehicle, and then collided with a civilian’s car.
The suspect was taken into custody, but drivers may still see a police presence in the area as the APD is still processing the scene.
