Albuquerque –
On January 14, 2025, at approximately 5:00 PM, deputies from the Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Office were dispatched to the 220 block of Atrisco Vista Blvd SW in response to reports of shots fired at a mobile home park. Multiple callers reported a vehicle and two males involved in the shooting, with the suspects then seen fleeing through the mobile home park. Dispatch provided descriptions of the suspects: one male was wearing all black with white shoes, while the other wore a black or dark shirt with blue jeans.
Upon arrival, deputies located the scene at the intersection of Tierra West Dr SW and Abique Dr SW, where numerous 9mm and .40 caliber shell casings were found. Deputies collected security camera footage and interviewed neighbors, who reported seeing two males matching the suspects’ descriptions enter a trailer. A perimeter was established, and public announcements were made by BCSO deputies for the individuals inside to exit.
Three males were initially detained: RB (not named because they were not charged), Carlos Olguin, 18, and a 16-year-old male (referred to as EO because of their age). Per the criminal complaint, the three males were related. RB stated he was watching Olguin and EO at the residence, as he was the oldest. He admitted to deputies that Olguin and EO had left earlier without his knowledge and later returned. RB also revealed that both Olguin and EO had possessed firearms at the residence. Olguin, after being advised of his Miranda Rights, declined to speak with the deputies. EO, due to his age and the absence of his parents, was not questioned.
Security footage showed Olguin with his Edgar style haircut, holding a black handgun and wearing a black shirt and blue jeans, with EO accompanying him in a black jacket, black pants, and white shoes. BCSO Violent Crimes detectives obtained a search warrant for the residence, which led to the discovery of ammunition and firearm magazines. There were no shooting victims wounded in this incident.
Based on the investigation, Olguin was charged with multiple offenses, including shooting at a dwelling or occupied building, unlawful carrying of a deadly weapon, negligent use of a deadly weapon, and contributing to the delinquency of a minor. Olguin was booked into MDC on January 15th at 2:28 AM, and as of this posting, he is still being held at MDC.
According to the criminal complaint, EO, who is 16, was charged with conspiracy related to shooting at a dwelling or occupied building. Due to EO being a juvenile, we do not know if EO was booked into the Youth Services Center (YSC), formerly known as YDDC.
Everyone accused of a crime is considered innocent until they are proven guilty in a court of law.

Not sure why an 18 year old would need to be watched by an older sibling… apparently this punk needs additional guidance. Hope he finds it at MDC lol.
