Double Homicide Happens in South Valley, BCSO Has One Detained

Albuquerque –

At about 10:27 PM on Friday, November 7, 2025, deputies from the Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Office South Valley Command responded to reports of gunfire in the 1400 block of Entrada Bonita SW.

Deputies arrived to find two adult men dead inside the home with apparent gunshot wounds.

Three other adults and two young children were also inside. Deputies detained the adults for questioning and removed the children safely from the scene.

BCSO Homicide Detectives have taken over the investigation.

One suspect is in custody as detectives continue collecting evidence and interviewing witnesses.

Authorities will release additional information, including the identities of those involved, once next-of-kin notifications are complete and the investigation permits.
