Albuquerque –
43-year-old Ryan Dunbar of Albuquerque is facing charges of trafficking controlled substances and tampering with evidence following his failed attempt at illegal entrepreneurship.
On February 18th, 2026, the Albuquerque Police Department surrounded the ART bus platform and took two people into custody in regards to drug dealing.
According to the criminal complaint, an undercover officer approached the ART Platform and asked a female later identified as Mariah Martinez if she knew anyone selling drugs. She pointed to the undercover officer and said “He has fetty powder.“
A drug deal was initiated by Dunbar and the undercover officer for $40 worth of the fentanyl powder. Uniformed officers converged to the location and took Martinez and Dunbar into custody.
The complaint says Dunbar tried to ditch the drugs and money in a trash can on the ART Platform.
Dunbar was released from jail 16 days prior on violent aggravated assault felony charges from causing a disturbance at a local smoke shop in Albuquerque.
He now faces new felony charges of trafficking controlled substances and tampering with evidence.

Martinez was not charged in the drug deal incident but did have active warrants for criminal trespassing and unlawful camping.
