At approximately 2:15 AM on July 25, Albuquerque Fire Rescue responded to a call regarding a large outside fire at 9201 Central Ave NW. AFR states that as additional calls came in reporting a trailer on fire, the incident was upgraded to a structure fire response.
Engine 14 was the first unit to arrive and found two trailers fully involved in fire. Engine 7 established a water supply, while Rescue 7 deployed an additional hose line. Ladder 7 conducted a search of the area.
Fire crews were able to bring the fire under control and extinguish both trailers within 20 minutes of arrival. Both structures and one vehicle were a total loss.
One civilian was injured in the incident. No firefighter injuries were reported. As of this publication, the status of the person injured is unknown. AFR stated that fire investigators were dispatched to the scene.
