UPDATE: JUNE 26TH, 204, APD confirmed he was found safe and alive.
The Albuquerque Police Department’s Missing Persons Unit is requesting assistance in locating 43-year-old Morgen McBrayer.
Morgan was seen earlier today with his service dog in the area of Ladrillo Pl. NE and Ville Ct. NE. Morgen left in his vehicle, a dark blue 2006 Toyota truck, with New Mexico license plate number RRD796 (PICTURED BELOW).
Morgen went to Los Lunas where he left his service dog with a breeder indicating that he no longer wanted the dog. Morgen’s wife was contacted by the breeder and told what happened. Morgen’s wife said that the dog has helped Morgen in the past when he has considered taking his life, therefore she is worried that he is suicidal at this time.
Morgen does not have a cellphone or any smart devices. Morgen and his vehicle have been entered into NCIC as an Endangered Missing Person. If located please contact the Missing Persons Unit on call detective at 505 242-COPS (2677).
CAUTION: BE ADVISED THAT ONE OF MORGAN’S HANDGUN, A NIGHT HAWK 1911, IS UNACCOUNTED FOR AND MAY BE WITH HIM.
