Family Puts Up Billboards in Fatal Hit and Run Case

SW Albuquerque –

On November 13th, 2021, Marcos Baca was on his way home from a motorcycle racing award banquet when he was struck at the intersection of Arenal Rd. and Tapia Blvd SW. Bernalillo County Sheriff investigators are looking for a small, black, 4-door car that is believed to have significant damage to the passenger side and possibly scorch marks from a small fire that occurred at the moment of impact. The driver of the car did not stop at the scene.

“Marcos meant everything to me, we were glued to each other, spending time with him was the most priceless experience,” said Vanessa Galloway

“The case is still open, with no credible leads so far. I have received no more than 7 tips so far, which have all been able to be ruled out,” said the lead investigator

“What it means for us to get justice for Marcos is the person responsible for his death owns up to what they did. I and Marcos’s family wanted him for a lifetime, this person has robbed us of that in the most atrocious way therefor they need to held accountable and penalized,” said Galloway of them finding the person who hit and killed Baca.

Through anonymous donations into Crime Stoppers tipsters could be eligible for a CASH REWARD up to $7,500.00.
