Pedestrian Critically Injured in Hit-and-Run Crash; APD’s Fatal Crash Unit Investigating

Albuquerque –

This evening, officers from the Albuquerque Police Department were dispatched to the area of Coors Blvd NW and Central Ave for reports of a hit-and-run collision involving a pedestrian. The pedestrian was transported to the University of New Mexico Hospital with critical injuries.

Due to the severity of the pedestrian’s injuries, APD’s Fatal Crash Unit is currently investigating this crash.

Central is reportedly closed going westbound between 65th and Coors. Drivers may observe other closures as APD investigates.
